Anyone know when the newest stable 227 will come out? :P

I don't even have Unreal installed, but apparently I now have a reason to follow the progress of the new 227 patch. :P

According to a post made today [reference link] by Smirftsch, 227's primary developer, probably somewhere between two weeks to one month. :)

anyways, this month seems so full of great Unreal releases: Xenome, 227G, and of course Firestorm. It just makes me wanna dance!

please take your time Turboman, there is no rush. I'm still working on playing through all of the maps in the Custom Map Reviews section to burn off some time. but now that school has started, I don't have much time, which gives me even more days to try to complete all of these mappacks. Playing through all of these maps is tough work, but fun!

how the hack u know Firestorm,227G gets released this month (i dont know whats Xenome is),but uhm,if possible of deliver firestorm this month ur a Hero,and if u dont because u need to fix more bugs ur even better,i want to play the full version without bugs so take ur time mate :tup: :tup: :tup:

I think it's highly unlikely that Firestorm will be released this month. Shivaxi told me that it still needs a good bit of work in a lot of sections.

However, I can safely say that it's ready for release this year.

1. Will development continue on bug-fixes and the like if Turboman does go out of town for a while, as mentioned in the podcast?

2. Related to 227 and UMenu, is Firestorm going to have its own executable or will we start Unreal like normal and under New > Campaign be able to choose Unreal, RTNP and Firestorm? I ask because I look at Firestorm as being an unofficial Unreal Map Pack and think it should be grouped together with Unreal and RTNP. :)

Well Turboman isn't going out of town right away as discussed in the podcast, otherwise I think he'd of gone by now. He was delayed and I can't remember why, but it's good for us since now he can keep up the work on Firestorm ^^

And Firestorm has a nice handy menu addition where you go to Mod and select Firestorm to start the map pack. This is in Unreal though, dunno about UT, but I'd imagine it'd be the same.
