How would you like the navigation bar (at the top) to behave?

Leave it at the top of the page. If I need something, I can scroll up.

Scroll it along with the viewer! I don't mind a little less vertical space.

I like that. Any chance you could increase the character limit for thread titles, though? Having issues cramming enough details into the EXU2 thread title :p

Character cap experimentally raised from 60 to 100 80. This should also help our MOTW guys and gals for now

Added checkmark icon for [released] tag. You can also abbreviate it with [re].

The check is not masked! This displeases me for some reason.

I just saw the changes.. nice. However, the 'checkmark' made wonder what it was for, until I saw it here. Now would it be possible to make that a 'disk' with a link to the message where you have the download links? (just wondering/suggestion... dunno if it's possible, but it would be nice.. Or make it a disk with an exclamation point or something..)

Possible, few changes in databes and phpbb code are required though. And only new threads will be able to make use of it (or edited ones).

Most people will have download links in the first post of their threads for a released project, so I don't think it's necessary to link to them in the title. However, it is a bit unclear what that green checkmark means if you just see it there. Perhaps there should be a key for the icons at the bottom if the page?

Yeah, I'll add the icons to the legend. However, you can also mouseover the icons to see what they're all about :).

Yup, the mouseover revealed it to me...

Upon further inspection, it was merely an illusion. I thought it wasn't masked, but it is. It turns out the placement of the check box overlaps the text underline for hyperlinks on mouseover, and the other icons don't do that. Probably a minor issue with the code.

It looks like the underline starts before the image, when it should start after.

I think that icons ([UT] / [U1]) should be in some nice select box near topic title. I'll quickly make it after Christmas.

While browsing the forums on my mobile phone I realized that there's a lot of annoying little links/buttons that are very likely unused by the majority of posters. So I figured I should ask if anyone here makes frequent use of any of the following features:

"View your posts" (already found on your own profile page)
"View active topics"
"View unanswered posts" (not "unread") (gives incentive to necro-post)
Display of current time

On the topic view page:
"Previous topic"
"Next topic"

On the main page:
"The team"

Are those features of any use to anybody or can I remove them to streamline the design when I finally get to re-designing the forums?
If you find other superfluous features/buttons, do let me know.

I'd get rid of the first four.
