Hello everyone, this is Scrag. As far as I can tell, nobody can post at the moment.
It doesn't seem to be a database problem. I think the date's become set incorrectly on the server, which is why none of us can post, due to the flood protection system.
(Techy bit: Attempting to post in the "year 2000" when your most recent post was in 2008 generates, as the time since your most recent post, a negative figure that is less than the 5 second flood protection interval).
I can post from this account because I've re-registered "in the year 2000". I wouldn't encourage you all to do the same, because it'll screw up the existing threads.
I think we'll have to wait this one out. I'll contact technical support and hopefully the problem will be fixed.

No word back from tech support yet. I hate the way that problems like this always seem to happen on Sundays, when the necessary support services are reduced or nonexistent.
I've also had to delete a new account registered by cronodevir and an associated post on one of the existing forum threads (it wasn't even important, it was the bloody Media Thread). Listen to me, guys - please do NOT do this!

Tech support confirmed yesterday that my enquiry has been passed to an engineer. Hopefully it'll be sorted out today.
I stand by my diagnosis, as my e-mails are coming through dated 2000, too.

I can see the newspapers now: "Hellscrag shrugged off Darkon's thanks, claiming that he was just doing his job. Hellscrag2, who had been deleted, was unavailable for comment."
