Hey guys, thanks to Ividyon I've been given a chance to do an interview with Michiel for the site. I've already got some ideas of what I want to ask him, but I'd like to give you all the opportunity to also get some questions in. So.. if you have any burning questions for him, let me know below! :o

^^ That song always reminds me of Age of Wonders although it's from the Unreal Beta.

After 15 years he made the music for the new Age of Wonders title and now also Unreal Tournament. Did he ever imagine coming back to those franchises? What has changed in the meantime (also regarding composing music)? What stayed the same?

What's his favorite music he made for video games respectively Unreal? Does he play the games he made the music for?

My favorite Unreal related track is Journey (Nagomi Passage Day). Age of Wonders' Highmen Theme uses the same melody. Maybe a question in this regard, e.g. his thoughts about remixing music or remaking old songs.

EDIT

Alex talks about Unreal music
Nothing new anyway - once again he mentions why Suspense never made it in (Cliff hated the song because it was used too much), they planned to have a music system a la Deus Ex but never got in development and how he remarks that Unreal was originally almost 2x the size.

Alex has mentioned on soundcloud that he wants to do a remix album of some Unreal tracks.

During the final days of the System Shock 1 Remake Kickstarter, the Nightdive Twitch was live for 24 hours, and one of the segments was with Alex, Michiel, and two of the SS1 Remake composers talking about a lot of stuff and playing Deus Ex.
