Incredible how many years passed! Happy birthday, you silly site. Still can't believe we (almost) share a birthday; I suppose I should take care of my twin-8-years-apart some more.

Regrettably I cannot provide a surprise Anniversary release of the new site; we're not quite done yet. Howeverrr, a ton of work has been done this month, and it is in a state where only details are missing, and so I am confident that I will be able to release the new site within 1-2 months from now.

It will involve some more technical work like buying a dedicated VPS (Virtual Private Server) and setting it up manually, to move away from dreaded shared hosting, as well as overhaul the technology behind our forums (as discussed in previous threads.) With my typical timetable, along with an extra engaged work period where my company has picked up a huge new project, I can only get some coding in! However, I think the results so far speak for themselves:

We have already ported a lot of old site content over to the new system, too! Expect more news soonish.

It all looks very promising!

Yo yeah, happy birthday USP! I wasn't able to do much at all on the new website aside adding in project entries for the Single Maps. I need to get done with my stuff soon.
