Proph, try downloading and playing this version of One Day:
http://filebeam.com/99fc363a4cd3738cd9dbe97b8bd354c2

Dusk.unr conflicts with Dusk.umx with Unreal, so I renamed it to Dusk2.unr and changed the level teleporter URLs accordingly. There were also bugs with no playerstarts in the first map, which meant you could not save. Not sure this will fix your issue, but it's worth a try...

I'll look at the list of maps that need to be re-reviewed or have not yet been reviewed and consider doing one. :)

Quick question. Is DUSK the first map of One Day?

Also, still have the same bug. How could this be?

Dawn is the first map. There must be some kind of conflict in your UT folder, Proph. I don't get that error at all... Try searching your UT folder for filenames that are the same as the map names (especially Dawn).

AH HA! Got it. There is a .u file called Dawn. I have no clue what it is from (presumably that Ezkeel map?).

It's easy to have conflicts with the amount of content out there for UT. It's annoying that the game has issues if files of different types have the same name...

well Such a bland name as dawn, dusk, night or whatever sure will have the biggest problems with conflicts   I mean I'm sure a name like EXU2-BI02Plankton.unr wouldn't have many conflicts or Jones-08-pirate2.unr. :P

Yeah, I don't understand why mappers and mod creators name their stuff such simple names... I always make sure I add plenty of other letters to make it more unique.

You could just look up to the sky of the maps and get the same impression.

BTW, I submitted my Morene review last night. Scrag should get it when he wakes up.

I'll play One Day later today. I'm looking forward to it.

Go ahead UB. Remember to be consistent with the other map reviews. I can supply a spreadsheet of scores if required.

Just an update. Both my Morene review and my One Day review have been completed and sent. Pretty good balance there too, I got one good pack and one not-so-good pack.

Morene has been truly kicked into touch:

But One Day's score hasn't dropped at all!
http://www.unrealsp.org/community/reviews/oneday.html

Scoring for One Day seems generous to me, particularly in respect of architecture, lighting and possibly story, but in fairness it's been a long while since I played the pack.

Thanks Prophet.
