Are those three pics from the beta?! Well, this one was hell for me especially the chompers....I ghosted through them. :/ The next map after this is the one I love to pieces.

No, RTNP Foundry.

I like this more than DUG but it has nothing on Dig and Toxic; chompers are quite easy to avoid unlike, err, the blade traps from Soledad. The map is definitely unfinished, and the Asbestos Suit you get has no use.
At least thanks to this level I made an EXU2 conversion which is fucking awesome

Perhaps not as memorable as Toxic, but I do recall the Chompers bit (was waiting for someone to use those at the time I played RTNP).

There's something about the "mining" maps from Unreal that leaves an impression on me. Something about industry and aliens, and also because it was such a prevalent theme in shooters back then (and now).

Bleh, not one of my favorite levels. The only things I remember of it are how the Skaarj were willing to destroy their entire facility just to take out one human, and that behemoth ambush made that made no sense.

Chompers you say ?! man brutal.

I think this map should have been split into two, just seemed too long, say after the pipe.

Otherwise a remembered map, say 6.5 or more out of 10.

Hi-res textures. The beta version looks the same anyway, except the lighting colour being changed from purple/orange to something more realistic; aside this, Legend practically did nothing to improve Foundry (they made it worse somehow).
It is still very fun to play compared to most RTNP maps.

Always makes me laugh. :lol:

This level's okay, but it suffers at times for feeling like a rehash of Rraijgar. I can see why this level didn't make it to the final cut of Unreal.

I fixed quite a few black textures in this map for my RTNP conversion, and used song section 1 near the end. I don't know why it wasn't used in the first place. I added a tiny bit more story into Toxic, but this map is mostly the same.

Probably a good thing they did cut it then. Rrajigar as it is for me becomes a drag towards the end.

Toxic is the more memorable level for me. I've always wondered why that big lift at the end goes down and at the end of the next level (after going down more lifts) you end up on a mountain top... Then again this is the same game where every spaceship is bigger on the inside.
