Of course I can't comment on the last map that is now a locked thread, but it was pretty good.I liked the story about why there was poison water.It had good weapon-health balance IMO.I don't see how you get the two pickups on the ledge, so I fell and regained my health again , and the next map how to open those two electric forcefields.I would have made both those titans follow bot paths better, all in all it was pretty fun, kept me playing till the end.

another note about the last map thread, I found out that the hi rez texture Indus1.utx also has to be changed back to the low res, for the black sky hi rez problem.

The actual boss rush part is quite enjoyable and challenging, but the first two thirds where you're hopping around pillars and switch hunting with no particular challenging combat or gameplay feels like filler, the visual errors like the lava room having various black patches doesn't help either. At least the finale is mostly worth going through that for though.

At first I thought he boss fight was very unfair, but as usual after a few tries one finds a way to avoid the lethal situations. With V99end this went a bit too far in such that most fights end up being too easy and the boss fight itself is a piece of cake (even on the hardest difficulty due to the überpowerful weapon). That is my only criticism and the only reason that when I replay this I don't bother with the end level. (off topic - the starting level in the arena doesn't suffer from that at all).
The 2 areas before the end fight are acceptable but not memorable - but again on the first try it's going to cost health.
