I liked it, it had a good array of things, gameplay and scenery some hunting for things, seemed to make you want to finish and play.
I say about a 3.9 out of 5
I remember, this is one I got the hi rez texture problem and had to copy the low res original to see the all the stuff in the skybox.

heyhey it's that map! I remember being quite impressed with it. It was good to see legendslayers progress improving so rapidly

It does a good job with the island feel, and I think the sea is convincing too (at least in context with the relatively simple visuals), while basic I think the visuals are okay enough outside of the lacking lighting. There's a nice "unravelling" to the layout as you work your way around, down and up to the top and get rewarded with a view of the whole level at the end, even though the overall structure isn't especially complex. Simple but effective.

Wow, one of the few maps I've seen that manages to make the skybox background terrain look convincing next to the in-map terrain. If legendslayer kept (keeps?) mapping, really cool concepts would have shown up for sure.

Turns out I reappeared at the right time. Guess my map called me
This map is probably my favourite level I've ever made, it's one of those maps where I had a cool idea and just wanted to see how it unfolded, no plans for it to become part of Unreal Grief. Having a short attention span, this is how I work best. You might have noticed how the two maps after this get progressively shorter and less inspired!

I have to admit I considered mentioning that the following maps seemed much shorter and less interesting, especially as last week's map had the same issue of being much more involved than the maps that followed it.
I guess avoiding that is one of the big advantages of planning things out...
