Fun trivia: the alternate name for Zero Black was "Translator Event: The Movie."

This is probably the most playable level in the pack, as it's still ramping up and therefore the overpowered troopers are rarer (although there's still multiple Flak and Sniper enemies) and some of the later annoyances like vague clues to progression and huge water areas with no way to speed up are also less present. The visuals are okay but more feeling of an overall structure would be nice, as a lot of it is rooms and corridors that don't give much feel of a bigger picture despite the occasional views outside.
Zero Black's nature is kind of frustrating in general because the general irritants and imbalanced gameplay result in me finding The Sky Shard much more playable despite it being far more primitive technically.

Only ever played it once, but I remember getting more or less what I was expecting to get based on the review: a shitload of translator messages (on that note, lol@proph 2 posts up) and a craptonne of combat.

Sky Shard kind of felt even more unique than Zero Black in general, visually-wise (despite how primitive it was).
Zero Black is more like MonsterHunt than anything considering that by the end it turns into an extremely tiring "fight monsters, get items, fight monsters, get items" sort of thing.
