Needs a visual remake, but otherwise for me it's a great and original map

I just played this today for the first time - I wasn't interested in the game formula which is why I only now gave it a chance. Well, it's still not my thing but I recognise it's great for what it is... the traps to get the heavy weaponry (I died there, the only time I died in the whole map) and the arena with the Skaarj (very nearly died there, down to 12 HP) were the toughest parts for me!
Quite hard and quite long, too - took me over an hour on this first playthrough.
I never found the healing chamber nor the underwater tunnel to the armoury but didn't need to - after completing the map I checked it out in the editor, and found how to access these areas. The layout is quite intricate.
Trophies are cool! The ending could have given us more than that weird appetiser, but I guess it doesn't really matter.
EDIT: the author is Simon West-Bulford, not Sam

I just did, thought I'd let him know my appreciation of his works for Unreal/UT. Don't know if he'll notice, though - wait and see!

My old comments seem to still apply:
A good arena map, with lots of nice touches like the trophies for victories and punishments for going back for equipment without finishing an arena in one go. The visuals are also above-average by EZKeel standards (though not especially great). There are some questionable designs though; for instance, the Skaarj Troopers in the second arena shouldn't drop their weapons, because it makes it certain choices at the armoury sub-optimal when you can just grab them in a fight anyway. It's also a little too easy to get the enemies to do most of the work in the first arena; it would have worked better if it was more confined so you can't camp the edges and have to put yourself in at least a little danger (the last arena can be an in-fight fest too, but at least it's extremely dangerous to do there). It's still probably the best thought out arena type map for Unreal though.
