Chizra with less walking and more variety.
-A deathmatch map at first
-Wasn't separated from Chizra
-SETI wasn't made for this map
-The lava room was added before release, probable leftover from the cut fire god map

Wasn't SETI intended for a cut Egypt type level?

I loved the Chizra levels because of the atmosphere. I've always sympathised more with fantasy in gaming and the Nali temples and castles satisfied my lust in that department (which is why I played and made maps for it in the first place). The music in the first map plays a major role in the enjoyment, as some of you pointed out too. I always like it when there are small outdoor sections in a mostly indoor map. It gives me the feeling of freedom for a bit, thus this is what I liked in Ceremonial chambers the most (which is ironic considering I prefer temples - it's the good mix between the two ).

You may also notice, correct me if I'm wrong; I'm sure the valley shape is also used in DMAriza.

Yeah same brushes, though the DM version of Ceremony just had the first few indoor areas, not the outdoor one.

I had no idea about the terrain being the same. That's really interesting - I guess it makes sense given that Myscha made both maps.

SETI? What's that?

In my opinion, Ceremonial is more linear becouse there you must follow concrete way to get out of temple. In Chizra you sometimes may choose order of visiting rooms.
I like both maps, but I prefer music of Ceremonial. It's more misterious for me.
Returning to gods' topic I want remember you about the message in NyLeve's: "My burden does not end. More minions have been cast down by the angry Gods. I will pray for their souls but I fear my prayers are not heard. I must travel to the Temple of Chizra to seek balance." It means Nali have several gods.

Thank you for infirmation. I've never searched Music folder. I know this track as Chizra.mp3.
Are we going to discuss URTNP or URTNPUD in the future?

I really want motds on the alpha and beta levels, like that one level after bounds of foundry I forgot the name of, and also soledad.

I've realised over time that the first part of this level tainted my view of it as a whole; the copy and paste rooms, lore-contradicting Eightball plus forcing you to find underwater levers to progress (which breaks what's established in the last map) is kind of a drag. On the other hand I think the later parts are more interesting than Chizra due to being more varied, if less coherent and more set-piece focused. I didn't know about that room with the giant pit and super-health for ages (in part because I never bothered to explore the first part beyond what's needed), and it's a cool sight. The outdoor section evolves nicely as you go from the water to balancing on a tightrope and minor platforming, then there's the "raft" ride that provides an interesting low-key ending to the Chizra segment.
