Love the map itself, its a bit plain and simple, but still quite memorable for its unique theme :P i even liked the religious reference which was very well suited for this map.

the only thing that bugs me is that, zombies are supposed to be scary but gib skinned brutes are utter fail at that. I don't undestand why ezkeel chose brutes for this, back then we already had a few zombie mods, including the pretty cool ones from vigil99.

vigil99? Does that version work for non-unreal beta 225f?

I really like this map too.. Its not my favorite by EZKeel, but its probably 2nd or 3rd. The lightning definitly caught my attention the first time I loaded up the map. The underground area is pretty average arch. but I do remember some breakable walls that stood out pretty well.

I keep hearing about it but have never played it. Now I hear that there are zombies included in these maps!? Well, I hope the conversion resumes soon. I am also planning to resume my working conversion of Deja Vu to unreal during the summer break.

I played the Monster Hunt version of it, but it was plagued with terrible monster placement as most SP > MH conversions are. I'll download the SP, hoping that it will be more balanced...

I played this map once and it was three or two years ago. It was somewhat cool and unique, the lighting effects around the church were amazing.
Gameplay was repetitive and incredibly easy.

For the rest, I stick with the opinion of someone.

One of the first SP's I ever played. It was amazing back then all those years ago but the map doesn't really fare so well today. The lightning effects in the graveyard are still cool though. The Zomo-Brutes are kinda week but then again EZKeel probably had rather limited skills. I also think they were too easy to kill, especialy for skilled players. The map itself does it's job but it does look rather crude when compared to the latest and greatest.

Overall it's worth a playthrough if you have half-hour to spare.

Aye. I didn't exactly find the pack "flawed"...it was just so short and simple, really. I'm totally for a more fleshed out zombie-pack idea for SP.

I like this map. It certainly has the right atmosphere. Brutes as zombies are OK IMO, may be because I never played those zombie mods.

It's not an architectural masterpiece, but has unique theme and it implements this theme very good.

I believe this map pulled him a job working on some star trek game... don't think it managed to see the light of day thou. But yeah decent map... if it wasnt for ezkeel I'd never have started mapping.

I must say this map is kind of short, and the architecture (especially sewers) isn't stunning, but still it's a lot of fun to play. Chainsaw feast! And brutes as zombies are kind of cool, although the're pretty much harmless.

Worth spending ~15 minutes to play.

EDIT: On a second thought architecture WAS good, especially the church and parts of the catacombs. Also, lots of cool scripted events. And I like the music used here.
But the whole story doesn't make much sense :P

I don't know if it was this map specifically, but Ezkeel did get a job at the collective studios to work on the DS9 game (which is imo, one of the best looking ue1 games)
