The definitive last map of an adventure which could have been even longer.
And still, so far, has the best boss battle in any Unreal map.

IMO i like original versions, not other versions by people.
So when i play RTNP, then i play with the buggy version.

Agree, I much prefer reading and commenting on user-made maps. The only issue being that people may not have played a map, which is why I suggest MOTWs being at least fairly well known maps and not just some random map that many people might not have played. Just my 2 cents.

Oh yeah, and The Source is a nice map and a great ending, although by this point in the game I have usually grown a bit tired of the Skaarj themed maps and am longing for some thematic variety.

A nice final map, even if it's not especially standout; it does it job of building up the boss and providing a decent arena. While I can beat her easily on lower difficulties, on Unreal difficulty the Queen can be surprisingly damaging, and I find I tend to be pretty low on health when I win the fight on the hardest. The ending itself is a nicely impressive sequence, and finishing on an ironic mirror of your starting situation is done in a way that feels fitting.

Its just a really well executed final level and boss with good atmosphere and music. Not much else to say here on my end. :D

This, and I might specify further that it's quite hard (died a couple of times before making it through) and genuinely frightening the first time round - the Queen's ability to teleport throughout the arena is unnerving to say the least!

Indeed, and the music helps the ending cinematic reach emotional high notes as you learn of your fate... you drift and hope.

All things considered, this is the best ending a game like Unreal could hope for, I believe.

The best boss battle of all Unreal retail maps, yes. :wink:
Some of the best works of this community have successfully reached higher standards than this... years later, of course!
