Still the most memorable ending map I've played in an Unreal set. Despite being 99% optional and having nothing extra to find, it has more attention to detail than some sets have in their entirety, on top of the ahead of it's time techniques (like fog to simulate light streaming in). While relatively simple it's also still one of the best realisations of a desert theme in Unreal, and that was even more novel at the time.

As always, the ENDING map. This feels like the ending of an era in the most breathtaking, refreshing way possible. It's a feeling that it doesn't get any more better beyond this.

Your comments about this having a great "end of an era" ending have convinced me to play this before some more recent mappacks that I have yet to play like Project Zephon, Project Xenome and Seven Bullets (the latter was always being saved for last anyway), as it seems Tower of Shrakith'a was the best Unreal release prior to UT.

I forgot to mention this one will be the last standard MOTW thread for a while, if not (probably) ever.

From March on, around next week, we will be trying something different.
