One of my favourite maps from Unreal, I found it infinite times more memorable than Nyleve due to the pit being more spectacular in my eyes, and most of all for the music used. Oh, and walking to the ISV-Kran = amazing.
More Titan fights, and more Gasbags. Although the baloons like to fly away from the recheable parts of the map, and they are already a pain to kill.
I remember playing too much inside the last area: the robot made me chuckle, I thought it was an enemy and I didn't want to press the panel. ****ing awesome memories.

Funny to see how you simply ran thru the trench, MMAN!
I would always get the enemies down before I would approach the spaceship. I didn't like the back of the spaceship, but it was cool the way you had to enter it. Yes, I also expected the robot/mech to do something; attack me or perform its trick to make me able to continue the level... but nope.. nothing!

In the MOTW thread people were discussing whether or not this one should be posted since the 7B Trench presumably covered the map already. What I said there basically applies here, so I'll copy and paste:
" The Trench from Unreal was actually a pretty daunting scenario the first time I played it.
"There's Titans down there! How the heck do I get down!? OMFG monsters in the sky!"
I think I spent a good halfhour in that opening room, sticking out of the trench wall. Taking down as many enemies as I could. I remember when one of the Titans got close to the base of the Trench above my hiding spot, all pissed and throwing rocks. I remember huddling back in the room with the screen jumping around with his thumps. Wondering if Unreal pawns could climb... "
All in all it was one of those maps where my first time playing was totally nuts, but later the simplicity of it all became apparent. But that first play through, man...I did not want to peer over the the edge.

One of those I call real classics. As I already told many times - I really like the opening (room with dead bodies), also, combat in this map is quite challenging (although as MMAN showed it can be completly skipped ).
On the down side - most of the visuals suck. Also, this map (in my expirience) tends to be overplayed, among with Harobed, Noork and certain other hub maps, in coop.

Not too much to say for this one; it's simple but pulls off what it's trying to do well, along with providing some pretty intense encounters (if you don't run). The small puzzle at the end is also nice.

I have to agree with Jethro here.. It's a sudden change from the temple map.. but VERY memorable.
