Sorry, I didn't want to sound like that, I was way too tired. Now when I am reading my post it seems too much strong.
But still maybe that line is the worst in 7B IMO, just I don't remember another one sounding like that.

Holy crap, I just remembered something! Any of you ever wonder why one of the more iconic areas of Vandora, the area around that big torch with the canoe (the area seen in a couple of Unreal release screenshots) was cut from the redux?
The whole "find the passcode to the gate" was going to be a bit more expanded. The journal next to the Necris Pirate was originally going to be in a far room at the opposite end of the old water ring (a room where a SKtrooper waits for you in the Unreal version) and the water was all going to be replaced with another slime pool. This is actually where an early Petra fight was gonna be, but the area was too small. Besides having some BSP problems here as well, the whole section was just too simple looking (not much I could have done there) and also pretty limited for combat purposes, I scrapped the whole area and replaced it some collapsed corridor thing (hence why there are rocks there and it's all drained. Besides, scrapping that section made room for the Spinner re-emergence...even though I trimmed that area anyway.
I totally forgot about that little episode I had it all set up with pawns and events and everything.
