This map is pretty cool, but seems to consist solely of the cave area shown in the screenshots. From memory it has a problem solving gameplay style, focusing primarily on how to get from A to B. There seems to be very little combat on offer here.

Screenies look interesting.. but I think I remembering playing them; The initial thought is good, but then it gets kinda boring. Doesn't this level have the big waterfall or something? I got stuck.. and then I jumped down, trying if that would do anything.. and it went to the next level (that doesn't exist).
Nice idea's, but got 'old' pretty quick.

I always confused this one with Sarevok's similarly named pack. Although looking at those screenshots I honestly don't recognize them.

Well just looked at this and the next, and is of those annoying too dark maps like reading a book by candle light.
I don't like falling maps, you can't see, small ledges, but it does have a nice feeling of place.

I played this pack years ago and still remembered the environment. But after replaying it yesterday evening, I again was left with that "unfinished" feeling, even though there is a lot of detail in the map
This map has very nice ideas and the architecture, albeit not large, makes you look around in the distance. And then you notice a third section with a couple of crosses and a dead body but there no way to get there (at least I haven't found a way).
Although resistance is low , it's not unthinkable to fall or drop down from the structures. Unfortunately there's no way back into the structures (again, I haven't found any) - so there nothing to do but jump into the skyhole or die of starvation.
This gives me the impression that more was planned with this map but didn't get implemented.
But it's certainly worth playing even just to see the structures and even though there are few enemies, the path which has to be followed is set up so that you can get into problems if you're not alert.

no offense to the author.. but I think this mappack is a joke really. The maps are all extremely small and have almost the same exact type of build (except for the first map). It is extremely short for being 6 maps and I think this one is a major letdown as a "small campaign". Why did the author make the first map the climax of the pack and then have a bunch of BS levels like this that follow it? I think this pack deserves a lower score for the way the levels are poorly connected and executed.
In reality, this one isn't so far off from "One Day" in terms of map count and playtime. The fact is, "One Day" is organized in a climactic way that is far superior to this pack. "One Day" also features varying level settings to keep the player interested. WTF pack is even superior to this IMHO. That's all I have to say really

There's something really wrong if a person compares this pack to One Day. The abyss between them is as deep as the distance between these Sky Isles to the Na Pali below them, honestly.
Still, it has a really nice gameplay intro in the first map that I absolutely want again somewhere else (like in the Prison of the Unforchers of Editor Dave).

Not much to say about this one, it's a room where you do a couple of things and leave, a pretty nice room (I think the whole "sky caves" idea with the openings above and below could be very novel with a more involved level) but that's about it. It could have probably made some better use of the space available as well. The levels after the first really should have just been one map.
There's no way One Day's playtime compares; it's a least double the length, not to mention the vastly greater level design complexity inherently makes it longer overall.

it has been a while since I played this map.. so you guys could definitely be right about this one. I agree that the last 5 maps should have been made into 1 single map (although it would probably still be very repetitive).

I guess the most serious criticism is when you fall outside and look up, you see that big fake rectangle as the environment.
If they made it look cavey outside after you fall, would have been about as good as it could have.
