Kinda, but the scaling of some parts was way off. Lost it a while back in a nasty format :(

Here is a version of the tech demo krall's skin that fits perfectly with the regular krall. It doesn't have any major problems as far as fitting the final krall's UV maps goes, but some parts aren't as clear (especially the head) because they had to be squished to fit.

I want to do the same thing for the brute, but the drop in quality is ridiculous. The original big man skin looks so much better than the smaller brute skins.

It seems the head has a problem. There are black spaces on the head that I think should be translucent. Masking issue I think this is called.

It's like that in the tech demo, and the same goes for the staff.

But you could fix that, couldn't you? Why keep the bugs if you may as well remove them. I don't suppose anyone here would oppose that course of action.

I could, but I only wanted to release the skin. That part of the krall's model is set to normal, which would mean it would need a new model to be included with the skin that has that part flagged as being masked and two sided. If I included a new model for this skin, I would be better off releasing the modified model that uses the original texture.

Oh. Thanks. Didn't know model matters. I always believed that it depends on the skin file, that it's some color you choose that causes stuff to be masked. It seems that belief was erratic.

Master Unreal is working on that, the original skin was never leaked.
