OldUnreal / Smirftsch released a new patch for Unreal 1, version 227i. OldUnreal has permission from Epic Games and access to the source code to update the old game from 1998. Unreal 227i brings many new features, support for modern graphics and sound hardware and fixes for bugs that were still present in the last official patch 226f. It also comes with improved network code and many security fixes. Read the release notes for more information.

I was wondering how long it would take someone before someone posted this here.
the fanfare i saw today about 227i is pretty weak... compared to 227g release :|

I hope I get Unreal soon, I even asked my parents to get it for me as a xmas present (that's how I got UT :) ). I'm Really interested on this patch, good work!

I have a copy, I should add that to my selling site.

Just get that full package thing of all Unreals in one, seems the best thing to get.

most of i is shitloads of bug fixes anyway

edit: that relate to servers/unrealed

not so much for clients

Well i still have to mess with the ini to keep the editor viewports from changing upon restarting the editor.
The builder brush still don't reset the pivot upon " reset all"
and I wish somebody could add a "close" on the map, i don't think they ever had a close , as in instead of just open a map.

but it works ingame, allthough i still have to his ESC to goto menu, then hit ESC again to back out of menu to get to not pausing.

I once installed 227f on my Unreal Gold install and I was like "duh this ain't Gold..." *227g comes out* OMG RTNP!!! <3 <3
