They reference UT code in a way so they don't work in Unreal 1.

Jackrabbit was attempting to port Oldskool and 7bullets to Unreal 1 a while ago, but I think that project was abandoned due to the complexity* of oldskool

*horribly bodged mess

I seem to recall that he was trying to port 7Bullets alone to 227 without dependencies on OldSkool, but somebody else (possibly a 227 developer) was working on porting Oldskool to 227, and had been downplaying the work Jackrabbit had done on his own porting because of that fact. Jackrabbit decided to drop the project publicly at that point, though he may have had other reasons as well, I'm not sure.

As I recall the first couple of maps were converted and could be played. I don't remember exactly why Jackrabbit stopped working on it atm, you'd have to ask him, but he was doing a respectable job at it when he was. I only regret that I could not be more helpful at the time beyond testing. I don't have the time to spearhead another conversion, though I'm more open nowadays when it comes to endorsing a new attempt if one were so inclined to take it to task.

In any case, Seven Bullets had a rather less than spectacular COOP anyway.

I have the time if someone were to provide me with the framework for what needed converting. I spend a lot of time in the evenings relaxing with the computer as my energy is usually gone by the early afternoon. Something like this would be a welcome project but I just don't have the base knowledge of the script differences (yet) to attempt it without a bit of direct attention.

Seven Bullets was built on Oldskool for UT, so much of the conversion before was getting those dependencies to work on 227. Namely Botpack and Oldskool.

Botpack already works rather well in Unreal 1. Some minor mods even work under 227botpack without a recompile :D
