I still sometimes sculpt PS2-style terrain by hand with Blender 3. Some passions always linger.

this might be awesome for mapping as well. opens you up to see more of your map at a time, than on a small screen.

Whoa dude, aim it at your ceiling and play while lying down. That'd be great.
Also, maybe off-topic, but at school we got like a 3D room where they got doom to play using 3d glasses and a remote that you can use to move/look around corners with and shit. Really neat, would like them to try updating it for Unreal

Unfortunately it doesn't make mapping any easier, seeing as it can't really go much higher than my laptop's resolution anyway. Dual 1080p monitors soon though, I can't wait to have actual space to code 
Also, Bleeder, later this year I really want to write a renderer for Unreal that projects an anaglyph of a 3D cube in Unreal space onto my desk. It'll be a lot of shader keystone correction code, but I'm looking forward to it!
