Counter-Strike weapons for Unreal 1

What is it?
CSWeapons227 is a weapons mod for Unreal 1, with added features made possible using patch 227.
In the making for about 2 years, CSWeapons227 is a step-up from the original CSWeapons mod released about 2 years ago.

(Ripped from the readme)
This weapon pack contains 18 weapons converted directly from Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, which are split up into the following categories:
Pistols
Shotgun
Sub-Machineguns
Assault Rifles
Heavy Machinegun
Sniper Rifle
Grenade/Explosives

Contained also is a mutator with various options, ideal for both coop and deathmatch games.
Read the readme for more info.

Unless any more bugs are found or any more ideas people can suggest(?), this can be considered the final version

- Over 10 new weapons added, for a total of 28!
- A slew of bug fixes and improvements!

hoe shnap! about time haha. did my realistic mutator get included? i dont remember if I sent you the new version of that.

EDIT: reporting a problem. I try to do Open Nyleve?Mutator=CSWeapons227.CSMutator and my game freezes, forcing me to end task unreal. nothing in the log =/

I'll need to test with 227j still! Ill report back soon

EDIT: Seem to be an issue only on builds of 227j, I'll keep digging for info...

Found the cause. It's the USP weapon, which is set to default weapon in the mutator. I try to summon that and my game freezes. I can summon every other weapon though and it works fine. Maybe something wrong with the model?

It's not the model or sounds and the code compiles under 227j fine, dafuq is this wizardry

I bet I could figure out a way to make these LOD meshes without the bubbly effect, as I was making meshes for Unreal in Blender I found that blowing the model up extremely large before trying to save it reduces the effect, or almost eliminates it entirely.

You have to scale it up before export to fit it inside a box 2048x 2048y 1024z, then you scale it down in the UC import script:

I was thinking of adding some player models with this update, but I got about 3 pieces of coursework thrown at me last week so I gotta catch up on the before I add anything else :<

There's no rush, but if you'd like some sounds for the terrorists (death sounds anyways) I have some remastered bot audio files if needed.

I'm fairly sure Feralidragon may be able to solve the UT issue.

Rockin' baby. I love mixing traditional weapons with the Unreal stuff. Finally I can do it in Unreal without dependence on a large mod.

A UT version would be groovy indeed, as I tend to port maps back and forth I try to keep the same weapons in both.

Glad you like 'em Flay :)

As for the UT version, I've figured out a way around the left-handed model issue already and the UT port will come with the next update (Which adds over 10 new weapons + other cool bits and bobs)
