3rd person view in Serious Sam HD/BFE games is done so well and is so helpful in both SP and MP (and it's a legit command) that I wonder how something similar would fare in Unreal. Though, Unreal's vanilla behindview is just completely useless because the camera focuses on the playerpawn's ass instead of being placed right above the head like in Serious Sam and recent Bethesda games.
So is there some sort mod which makes behindview useful by having a better camera view?

There's this mutator called TPS that works decently offline, but I don't think it ever saw a final, polished release.

Pretty sure all you have to do is define the PlayerViewOffset(x, y, z) in the code or properties. But I could write a mutator for you that does this if you need me to...

I tried this mod out and it's pretty cool. One of the better approaches to 3rd-person I've seen.
Still not as good as Bleeder's though.
