I've been confused by the voting for the last week now.
The number of times Bluff could have secured the N°1 spot ??? It's as though it wasn't allowed to win but still made it clear that it could have won any time (although considering that I twice lost 2 weeks of voting opportunities, it would still have been a long battle).

Maybe you overestimate the importance of this whole thing to me, Kaj. Colour me disappointed but not particularly surprised. I could have swung it the other way by breaking my voting pattern and voting this morning, but that would have required me turning on my PC, as well as being a mite unsporting. I find this forum too awkward to use by smartphone.

Will vote again later, if there's still any need for it!

Haha, yeah that was totally not intentional (although it's quite funny). I simply quoted the post before mine, and forgot to switch Darkening with Bluff. The scores were correct, though. :P

There nothing unsporting about that. I was logged in with my post already written and al I had to do was press the submit button at 12:00 so as to avoid imminent elimination, which I did (I had used atom time to set my PC's time exactly right).
However, when I saw my submitted post, the time mentioned was 11:59 (yesterday) so according to forum time it was an invalid post :shock:. By the time I realised that, deleted and resubmitted, it was 12:03, phew!!

Looking back down the thread... Wow, did the Terraniux maps fall quick! :lol: I guess they're not very much liked around these parts. Which is justifiable, I don't like them much, either.

If there's another one of these for music, I guess my votes will mainly go for Erosion as well, mainly because I feel it is the most inspired track in an already great soundtrack.

Which is depressing because they're some of the coolest ones to play and have no technical flaws.

Nali Castle is ugly, empty, devoid of personality and soul, has very few enemies that feel uninterested in guarding the place considering its importance in being the only thing before the Mothership, has the worst boss fight in the game, the reason why the prison doors are unlocked when the Giant Gasbag is dead is unexplained, TERRIBLE representation of European castles, very few secrets, Nali being stupid (?) and I don't know what else to say.

I mean the castle keep itself, for example, is basically all textured stock brushes pieced together. There are zero details and really looks like that something is missing in the whole place.

It's a complete disaster aside from the music (WarGate is extremely good) and I guess the shock when you see its exterior in your first Unreal playthrough ever.

Add to that the disappointment of being the FlyBy map, and one balcony seen in the FlyBy castle isn't present in the playable version. I'd say it's one of the worst castles in videogame history I've ever seen.
