Stuff created in 227 won't run on prior versions. Such works should still be made under 224/225 if you want maximum compatibility.

Interesting that 227 now inculdes a working(?) Quadshot. I wonder what other suprises there are in this mod.

Stuff created in 227 does work on older versions PROVIDED that you don't include the exclusive content.

You can safely work on maps with 227 with the advantage of UED2 and expect them to run in 226f (IF you don't use the new added classes), however don't expect them to work in 225 because of the notorious 226f memory levelsummary thing ;)

I'm pretty sure you can compile code as well and make it run in 226, but again don't use the new features like skeletal animation ;)
on second hand 227 skeletal models are compatible with UT436, so that makes things alot easier too :)

How about those maps that are made in older versions that we can't run in 226? Like Vigil99? (I remember a thread about it and that someone would take a look at it.. :P .. and we never heard anything since.)

Yeah, I couldn't agree more that these maps need to be updated by the community to make them at least get them running in 225f.
