So I guess the "two new levels" Xer06siX spoke of above were not actually included with the test release?

Not as far as I know. Map 5 was completed when I checked, I've never seen maps 6 and 7.

They are supposed to be called HCL67 and HCL77 as far as I can tell. It really is a shame he disappeared yet again, this close to the end. I might play the test version later on, but I will always have that feeling that the experience could be more complete than it really is... Oh well.

I have a bug up my ass. Also three new levels I'm tidying up to round up the pack. I noticed some of my "way earlier" content has appeared on newbies playground server. Under anonymous. It's fine, I like it, I ran into a video of someone doing a play through of the map pack on YouTube. So I'm getting up off my ass and spending more time developing HardCrash.

It's still alive. I set a goal to release within the next few weeks. Sorry it has taken years haha. Mostly due to my neglect. No longer.

Havng read this I decided to search for the video(s) and found them.
And to my surprise I recognised the first 2 or 3 maps and remember playing at least the first 2 (and liking it), but this must have been ages ago.
In the playthrough the number of enemies does rise rather drastically afre the first map (edging towards unfair, mind you ... it's an impression, not experience) but still it really looks worth playing.

Everyone runs mutators now, with tons of ammo etc. I am trying to do a final playthrough to hopefully make things more fair. (more ammo drops etc...) for those who play normally. Playability is my goal.

After I post this I am doing a beta run-through / BSP tear and collision hunt, checking enemy difficulty and ammo placement, sound and texture tweaking. I am tempted to just put it out tonight based on this run. It is 8 levels total.

UPDATE!!: Due to unacceptable BPS tears in the first level, (On the main reactor, and hallway sign, and a few other things.) I have amended the first level. if you already downloaded everything else, Please download HCLF, it replaces the first level. Delete HCLF1 Sorry, and thanks!
