If you have been experiencing problems with the CAPTCHA installed on the forum, these should now be gone. Try resetting your password via the Forgot password? function before attempting a log-in. Additionally, our web server's RAM has been upgraded, which should also get rid of the pesky Internal Error 500 messages you've been getting. If you still have troubles with the site, don't hesitate to contact me!

Also, UnrealSP now has it's very own RSS news feed, inspired by zeroth's custom script. You can find the button on the main page menu, or next to your browser's address bar whenever you access the site or forums. Enjoy!

EDIT: More tech stuff! The chat has now been replaced with a Mibbit IRC applet. You can reach our new IRC-based chat via the applet (links on site and forums have been updated) or by connecting your IRC client to irc.synirc.net #unrealsp.

Yeah looks like I have to use the IRC Client. Mibbit applet fails to work.

Java maybe? Mibbit requires Java I believe. If that's not installed corretly on your comp, it won't work.

But if I was able to use Mibbit with the EXU2 channel, this shouldn't be any different.

If you're trying to join like that, make sure you're doing "/join #unrealsp".

But the Chat applet here on the site should work fine. Strange that it's not. What's happening when you try to load it?

Well try chat.mibbit.com, select Synirc for the server, and #unrealsp for the channel. That should work.

Okay, throughout mibbit website it works.

Been using mibbit for a few months on my site last year, never really liked it and got rid of it. It was rather slow, and the only benefit was that you can post youtube links so anybody could play them right away within the applet (requires a minimum breadth/width).

Was Ajax Chat really sucking that much server performance, or is there a different reason why it got sacked?
