I don't really know how to explain it better than I did in the original post. Are there any parts of it in particular that you don't understand?

Long story short, development of BFNP was way too slow and unproductive.

And that for a small community of SP-guys, we're spread too thin amongst three big projects, some of which share a number of members in between.

me too... but it depends on when certain big projects will be done.. like TCO and RD. That way more mappers are available (as long as they're still interested that is).

Absolutely. BfNP's fate is not sealed. Those of our team who weren't already embroiled in other projects and who were actually still doing work on the mod have migrated over to Red Nemesis to work on RD; if there's still the interest after RD is released, then members of Red Nemesis may migrate back the other way and pick BfNP up again.

I'm still interested in finishing BfNP after TCO and RD.

I'm still uncertain about what Kaka once said - he mentioned that next project (now, the questionable part) DCS or him will be working on is planned for UEngine3. That means he/you don't want to map for ol', good Unreal anymore?

Yes, next project is planned on UE3, but I will still mod for old the engine... I just really like it :)

If BfNP ever returns, I would be happy to help out. It looks like some really good stuff was produced. Red Nemesis really should help out once RD is finished (but I suppose then there's TCO...)

BFNP isn't coming back, dude. It's been split up and what little content WAS made is getting used (when possible) in RD. It's been like four years since that project shut down.
