I do have the Collector's Edition and already watched through a large part of the vid tutorials and coming from UEd2 I found them to be very useful. There's just such a major change between the way things work now and it's good to know about it. Really handy to have the new particle system, matinee and kismet explained to you in a hands-on, explanatory manner and after watching the vids I could find the vertex edit option again! (toot)

And I got the soundtrack as well. The best one in my opinion, together with U1 songs.

Any chance of uploading that somewhere?

Meh, another good review pops out once in a while. Link retrieved from BU.

PS3 Mod Tools are coming out pretty soon too! I totally would like to see how that works out.

yes bioshock actually got several 10 out of 10's, its a fact, the game rocks because the majority believes so.

game is overrated as hell, to me its nothing more but another daikatana, except people fall for the hype.

Remove your flamesuit, Turbo.
BioShock deserves nothing, honestly. It's a waste of money once you understand its horrible longevity, making that product the best rent you can ever get.
It's a SS2: IW with graphics.

The tens for BioShock were too high, but to put it even within a hundred miles of being as bad as Daikatana? You've got to be kidding.
(I played through Daikatana recently to see whether it really lived up to its reputation, and it's even worse than I imagined.)
And if you're working off a ten point scale, then making ten "perfect in every way" is stupid, or else you may as well use a nine point scale.

I only found two games in my whole live worthy of getting a straight ten. That was Thief:Dark Project and UT99. Both have compared to the new games utterly lousy graphics, but both have more atmosphere as all new games stuffed together, even with their almost ten years old engines.
I am so sad that todays hype totally moved to graphics, newer games are just graphic demos with some stuff thrown in, and IMO U2 started the trend. Hope someday when graphic-engines get on their limit or start to perfectly reflecting visuals from real life storyline game finishing/design will experience a big renaissance.
Years ago game puplishers created a graphics engine and used at least two years to really develop a game out if it, polished everything and brought everything to near perfection. Today its the other way around, some graphic geeks create a new engine and sell it to several game designers.
Game designers just create some custom stuff like weapons and maps and sell it as a new game after half a year of development to get some fast cash. Thats so half-assed, and makes several games feel like the same game just with some mods installed. Its making me sick.
Wow, what a long brainfart!

Unreal 2 didn't start anything.
UT3 is far from being something amazing on the PC. I want to like it more as the loyal Epic fans do, but an ignorant Midway and a kiddy community prevent that.
It is having a great life on the PS3 though.
