Developer: Qtit
Status: In development
Firstly it was meant to be an UnrealSP.org 8th anniversary map, but it became too big and massive. Like everything I do. So, that's why I decided to make it a seperate mappack.
ISV-Dragonfly is a single player modification for Unreal Tournament 436 with Oldskool addon. The story is set in Unreal world several years after the Na Pali incidents. Skaarj haven't been seen from that time and human kind became quite sure this threat is headed off.
Your name is Dell Reaves, you work as Liandri Corporation miner on Space Vessel Dragonfly. You and your mining team search for Tyradium on freely drifting asteroids on different planets' orbits... Six months' cruise can be quite hard when one is locked on less than 200 square meters of flying old can. Every day is exactly the same... Or is it?
Features:
- 10 to 20 maps, depends on time.
- New HUD,
- Dialogue system, probably interactive,
- New weapons,
- New pawns,
- Computer Panel - my old project - being used :D
- New music,
- Hopefully interesting storyline,
- Cutscenes,
- Unusual gameplay... But usual too...
- and more...
Release date: Umm, Hopefully, this year.

Three maps... in six weeks?

Careful planning of the scope of your work is surely key to a contest like this. Good luck...

What'll be there?

- As the beginning is a bit different from oridnary unreal maps, a bunch of scripts. Hope it's allowed.
- Dialogues.
- New Hud. (read "no hud" :P)
- 2 new weapons, it there's time.
- (Hopefully) surprising ending...

That's all.

Name can change thoughout the development.

Sounds cool! 8)

Ok got song issue.

Why it is, if I made a new HUD used in new game info subclass under Oldskools' SinglePlayer2, that the music changes to standard UT Menu after going into the menu... And that doesn't happen when I use SinglePlayer2 Game info?

Anyone?

You need to use Blank.umx file if you want no music without any problem.

I prefer to recommend "olroot.null" - a silent music track built into Oldskool. Just load olroot.u in the actor browser before attempting to set it as the music.

They're just the same thing anyway.

Not at all. Using Blank.umx requires you to include an extra package - and I'm not sure, but I have a feeling there may be more than one Blank.umx around.

It also looks more professional to use as few extra packages as possible (although I should add that putting everything in MyLevel isn't a great idea either).

Caerful with Blank.umx though. I got a mismatch joining a server one time...so idk it's iffy and there's multiple versions out there. :/

Disregard what I said then. Still, DV and other packs have it! :B

No, it doesn't work.

I set Song in LevelInfo.
When I use SinglePlayer game info and turn on menu or console the music changes into the default UT menu music.
Same happens with VRikersGame

When I use SinglePlayer2 from Oldskool.u everything works fine.

Now, when I use my own Game Info, with own HUDType, this problem appears. BUT when I change the HUDType into the one in SinglePlayer2 everything works well.

:x

Added 15 minutes later.

Woo! I think I got it. Don't understad how though... :B

I think it's something in OldSkool preferences. Open OldSkool configuration and see if in tab Music, Force Music is turned off. If it's on - turn it off.
