Whatever what it is!
But you got 100% right how I want to see the Skaarj theme being used. I'm really liking your way to design hi-tech structures.

What code have you used to generate the overlay in the first pic? Any custom content that you haven't created yourself?
Everything here is coded/created by me. To prove that I'll tell you how.
What I've noticed in UEngine 1 is that you can create an alpha map effect by combining two textures...
Modulated:
And translucent:
... in a right order. You can do this even on a mesh, applying two mesh layers.
That's the trick.
But these are only two layers out of six (!!) used in my no-hud hud. Later on, after the contest I can explain how to create such thing. No problem.

Ym... No, I'm not. I just got a lot of free time. And what's more, Unreal makes me not to think about things I don't wanna think about. When I design, my mind is pointed into another direction. Let's say I need this.

Today I was more learnig to my job promotion exam... (the life of being a techer. Exams all the way ) so didn't manage to do much. Only a song for one of my levels, hellishly peaceful. I have some doubts whether to use it...

No semisolids at all?
Compare and contrast Triskaden Station:
Using semis for most of your decorative brushes creates much cleaner BSP.

Gonna check it though.
Using just a few won't work. You really have to build them in from the start. Generally, I tend to use semis for a lot of my archi unless there's a good reason not to.
