Oh GOD!!

I've decided to move this project a bit further and thus I've opened the PDA script...

I CAN NOT BELIEVE I HAVE WRITTEN THAT!!

I need to work out all the functions from scratch, what they do, what they don't and ... that's just... it's nightmare...

About 20% of PDA done and already 24 pages of script, 6000 words, 43 000 digits. Shiet...

OH! And I'm thinking bout renaming the project and making some improvements. Unreal Stories. Probably 6 stories connected in some way, 3 to 6 maps per story (not including cinematics) and first would be "Dragonfly". Then "Second Encounter", "First Wave", "Battlering", "Hope Lost", and... no more titles so far.

What do you think?

Build that damn thing, man, I know you can, then stomp out the bugs with your mighty anti-bug powers. Feel the anger flowing through your finger tips into the keyboard. Let it fill you; channel it into pure rage and in turn, it will fuel your might, and all lines of code will tremble before your wrath, fleeing at the sound of your keyboard tapping. AAHAAHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHFLVRAMJPG!!!!!!

At the moment this project is on-hold as my RL is kind of lacking like 7 hours per day. But, If I manage to bring to life the plan that have been born in the depths of my brainwave vortex it's most likely to be finished this year...

Well, there's still not much of a gameplay in that early state of the game, I've got 4 maps so far (2 finished, 2 in their totally raw state) and loads of ideas I've written down on the paper (the problem is, I've lost that friggin paper somewhere :< ). Anyway, cooperation with NPC's, less health for the player (and some of the monsters), so a bullet CAN kill you, but there will be a contrast between logic puzzle levels and combat levels. I had in mind making a no-hud (intuitive hud) gameplay with use of screen effects and PDA but I don't think it's gonna work, vehicles (flying for sure [aaaand a little surprise here which actually is already almost implemented and works little less than perfectly]), many different weapons (Skaarj, Nali, human) and different routes of completing a game... More less.

One thing you can be sure. I'll try to abuse the 227's features to the limits. And maybe :.:.. PhysX mod, if it's out in time XD

UnrealED & Uscript editor?

Qtit, will you include vehicles to ISV-Dragonfly?

Delemary, the only thing that really limits you here is your own imagination and disbelief. Seriously, Everything I do in Unreal I've learned here, from these people around, and from Unreal Wiki... And Uncle Google. Everything's there. You just need to grasp it. It will take time, yep, but you can do anything you want. And later on, yea, why not trying UDK? I surely will.

@Dozey:
3D Studio Max, paper, Mudbox, Photoshop, Internet Browser, UnrealED and Uscript window in UnrealED (Most ppl say I'm crazy XD )
Vehicles: Flying ones are certain.

no you are not crazy - you now can be 3D modeler, coder and mapper xD
so you don't need other people in projects I think :p
and good to hear that not only I am crazy to put vehicles in gameplay witch is a hard way to pass :)

Well, only crazy people code in UnrealED, others use WotGreal, LeafPad or something like that XD
And, no, I can't do it alone. It will take ages, and I can't do anything, I'm not that good.
