5/7 - Four weeks to go! (and how to link the maps)

You should probably be at about 40% build by now. Remember, if you're still way off target, it's not too late to change the scope of your map. A short, complete map is better than an incomplete attempt at a map that was too large for you to build in the time available.

Good luck. :o

This thread is probably worthless to Legendslayer :B

If you need to abbreviate my name you should use LS222 or you might get me confused with another Legend Slaying Unreal player. :P

Prolly gonna unveil mine a bit later. Maybe last two weeks. I do like the diversity between maps we seem to have going on and mine is no different.

I have no idea how far I am. This week I'll finish first map completely If I don't encounter any technical problems.

:o Heh.

Well, I'll just say mine is as different from the others as they are from each other.

If we ever plan to package these entries together as a single map pack, we might have had to call it the "WTF Series" if that name wasn't already taken. :o

I suspect we'll end up with a compilation release.

Well it's not like Deja Vu in that it's all part of the same campaign, so we could just call it what it is: a map collection of some sort.

I guess this should be decided at the end of the contest, when we have judged all the maps. Otherwise we're going to get something even more inconsistent than DV2.

There is absolutely no way this is going to be a single campaign, period. The mapping styles, stories, content used, etc. are all so wildly different that even discussing the idea is pretty much pointless.

I completely agree with that.
