OK everyone, your time really is almost up. By now your build should be at 100% and you should be well into the process of placing creatures and items and testing.
Don't forget to work on your commentaries as well, and it would be a good idea to prepare a ReadMe.
Full instructions on how to submit your maps will be published soon.

Should be able to make it, I think! Worst case scenario is I massively simplify the final battle.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
So near to the end!!! Who's gonna win?!?!
All the entries so far have had me drooling over their screenshots (Ecspecially that one called Rise Of USP by LS222 ), & the ones that havn't had me drooling are the ones that havn't put up any screenshots *HINT*.
EDIT: Everyone should cancel their jobs & appointments. This is more important.
EDIT 2: Finished the commentary. Longer than I expected.

Sorry but I can't finish my map before the contest is over.
I knew right in the beginning that I've no time but I wanted to give it a try.
I will release my map separately after the contest is over and I find the time to work on it.

I hope we get a decent number of submissions.
Look on the bright side, the competition has started lots of projects & has brought people here who haven't been here for years if not at all.

Instructions on submissions? If you don't tell us how to submit our maps soon, no one will even be able to enter our maps with in the deadline!

I am sorry to report that my contest map will not be submitted due to the death of a friend. He was an active Unreal player who I played online with many times and was an active member in my VOIP Teamspeak server. I will be taking a solid break from Unreal, UnrealED and the Unreal community until I feel fit to return.
The good news is that the map will eventually be released with the Mission Pack Zero mappack for Unreal 1. So, good progress has been made on MP0 this summer and should only get better and better as time goes on. Screenshots of the map will be posted soon (by the end of August at the very most) of the map and possibly another map that I've been working on as well. I'm hoping for at least 10-12 new screenshots that will be made available on this forum to get people more interested in the project.
A death of a friend does indeed change you (reality hit me pretty hard with this one), and I think it might be for the better considering Mission Pack Zero. UnrealED will most likely become an outlet for me to enjoy Unreal without having to go online more in general. In fact, i've become less and less active over the internet in the last month and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Lets say going on the internet is now making me feel much more depressed.
I will definitely return to development in UnrealED first, but will not get around to playing Unreal (or signing on my MSN account to talk to some online buddies) for a significantly long time from now. This in turn should greatly help the development of Mission Pack Zero in the long run.
