I'm just surprised anyone uses 2.38, as 2.39 has been out for as long as I can remember Oldskool even existing. But if there's no significant changes between the two, that's probably not the issue. I use 2.39 and I was able to quicksave and quickload just fine; never tried a hard save though.

quick save or quick load, hard save or hard load. nothing worked for me. But I still trudged on and saw the mod through to the end, nice work. Just plz fix the saving bug

I believe there was a Bug in the "Bugs Fixed" List that claimed to have even been present in Unreal, that was a Save Bug. Not sure what it was-Ussar just called it the Vortex Rikers Save bug, and I'm pretty sure it was fixed between the two versions.... Gah, time to dig up the Readme...

I tryed the demo but it didn't work. none of the humans talked to me and the new hud didn't turn up. When i got into space i started drowning...
any ideas?

Sounds like you loaded the map without the gametype. Just do "open mapname"...nothing else. Make sure you load the first one too

yeah that did the trick it's pretty good so far i just can't figure out what 2 do once i got into space btw looks awesome
