Weird. I'll have to go & download 7B to find out for myself (although I was about to do that anyway).

EDIT: SEE! It's always me who changes pages. :x Someone's set up the forums to do this to me, haven't they?!?!?!!?

There's no need for it. It may not even have anything to do with 7B (the message it's over another crate). "Dares to be different" is an expression used to summarize 7B in the USP review page.

This'll take some time...

29 minutes from now.

After those minutes you'll have shitload of fun for 2/3 of the entire mappack. Trust me, it's pretty damn awesome.

Yep, but do expect a little more resistance than in U1, RTNP, ONP or in Déjà Vu. I would not recommend playing this for the first time at Unreal difficulty (Currently playing at Unreal difficulty and feeling that Medium was a walkover compared to this).

Expect also beefed up weapons. 7B is not hard. It just becomes very bad only in the Pirate section.

OK I'm trying to play this in RTNP with 226b and it keeps crashing. I have the that old OldUnreal multimedia patch applied to RTNP, though. I think the game just is expecting different textures than what it's getting:

Critical: Texture city.Sidewalk2: Serial size mismatch: Got 87598, Expected 131445
Critical: Windows GetLastError: The system cannot find the file specified. (2)

I gave up on trying with RTNP (227) but had no problems in UT with the RTNP4UT patch.

The architecture and lighting is very basic, and some of the corridors are way too long to be completely empty as they are, there also didn't seem to be much point in the alternative route to the second floor, as there's nothing guarding the normal route anyway. On the other hand, the Human theme is a good idea as it makes the cubic designs a bit more acceptable.

There needs to be a bit more health or some armour provided; the security officer fight is massive difficulty spike as the Quadshot is essentially a hitscan Flakcannon, which becomes especially OTT when combined with an extremely buffed enemy.

The comedy theme was handled pretty well though, and the final boss had an amusing set-up.

I can't put it on the level of the other (full) maps in the contest, but it provides some entertainment.

True, but also consider the fact that LS222 entered the contest with no mapping background - yet, the map was finished in time (good planning and not a thought about a premature resignation), and for a "noob" map, it didn't crash any PC (or Mac), was humourous (and provided one decent fight and one non-existant fight).

I don't think LS222 will hold it against me when I state that he won't win first prize with his entry.

But if a prize were given for sportivity, LS222 deserves it if only for daring to enter with Waff, Hellscrag, Prophet, Kaka, Sarevok, etc.. as fellow contestants.
