Subject: Pawns not shown on start-up?

I have this strange problem: Some of the pawns (non-player characters) does not show on startup. And this is totaly random! Sometimes they're there, sometimes they're not. Sometime they show up after a while, and sometimes they does not...
Is there some kind of 'randomize show-up time'- bolean that I have missed?

Did you check their filters? Are these pawns directly placed in the map?

The pawns are placed directly in the map, yes.

1. Maybe they're just shy?
2. There's a general memory glitch in most of the Unreal/UT games. If too much is loaded into a map, it sometimes renders characters on the map invisible. Does this to bots too, which is really annoying.

Need more info about the map, your settings and hardware, etc to know for sure.

I don't think there's any hard limit to how much stuff can be in a map at one time, as I've had hundreds of pawns on screen at once in some EXU2 maps and my PC never even skipped a beat. I've had tens of thousands of effect classes on screen at once as well, and that only gets laggy if lots of sprites overlap (due to an overlapping translucent surfaces rendering bug in the engine, so they make things extremely slow after about 3-4 overlap regardless of hardware).
