MrLoathsome has been working on a solution to allow mixing items from both games.
Testers are required, and currently there are some CoOp issues that need squashing.
Bypassing certain code now means that the bot AI is faster, and the monsters and bots more deadly.
Anyone with interest or insight should pop over to UT99.org and join-in the testing.

Updated that tiny, but powerful thing tonight with what I think will be the final version of it.
Only thing I have found so far it doesn't function with, is the oldskool coopgame2.
This should work with any UT gametype that has not replaced Botpack.DMMutator as the base mutator.
It does work fine in UT maps/games with the Oldskool mutator running.
You can also now just copy Unreal Dm maps into your UT install, and run them without Oldskool
and have all the Unreal guns in the map and working just like they should.
If you are adding extra guns to your games via another mutator, you can have all the Unreal and UT
guns in your inventory at the same time. Without Oldskool running at all.
Check it out.

I totally did not attempt to hijack loathsomes thread by the way! At least, I don't care enough to make a new topic since really I was just demonstrating the minimum required modification to get functioning Unrealshare.Coopgame, or rather, U1 weapons in most gametypes.
