Trail Emitter help

I want to make a trail emitter like the ones that are in Turboman's 227 example map:

. . . but I just can't get them to work. I copied the properties of the trail emitters and their corresponding FlashLightBeams, but still, only the original corona lights show up. Even in the example map, if I delete everything except for the Trail Emitters and the FlashLightBeams, the effect stops working. As far as I can tell, no triggers, dispatchers, or particle combiners are involved. What am I missing?

The TrailEmitter must move to leave a trail. For example attach it to a mover.

They don't move in the example map, though. Plus I deleted the attach mover that they were supposed to be attached to and rebuilt the map, and they still showed up.

Edit: oh, wait . . . it doesn't rotate in the editor but it does in game. doh :B
