Vote added (although I'm a non contestant);
And for the record, I agree with The Prophet's reasons (his predictions were wrong a couple of days ago but now he's talking sense :wink: ).

Voted yes, and, thinking about it, with an extra couple of weeks there's a very remote chance I may be able to get back into the contest...

I vote extension, although this isn't going to help me as exams are about in 3 weeks, but hopefully it can convince those who dropped out to get back in and complete their work :)

Voted 'YES'.
Maybe I'll try to finish mine.

It looks like we're going to have more time, the drop-outs should come back. Even if it isn't your grand vision, submit something. UnrealSP deserves a formidable contest for its tenth.
Current Project: None. WTFs2 had to go to sleep, RIP.

I still sometimes sculpt PS2-style terrain by hand with Blender 3. Some passions always linger.

extend it, I've been very busy with online freelance work that i haven't had time to play any games at all. Sorry I missed the MOTW btw, I really have been ultra busy trying to build up a portfolio. Things should cool down once I get settled and get more fimiliar with my work, but right now its constant chaos.

I voted for extending contest time. Propably many contestants misestimate the time needed for playtesting and clearing out the last issues. But I don't know, why everybody expect to extend it by 2 weeks. Wouldn't it be enough to extend it by one and a half week? Then everybody would have 2 addional weekends.

I wouldn't be opposed to an extension. A lot of my time lately has been taken up by other pursuits so I haven't really had a chance to sit down and do much with the editor. I really want to make something cool for the contest.

I started late, having a hard time incorporating a story, need to re-learn about a level end, I just can't hurry no matter how long I have.
But I did get a start, and sort of have a plan.
Otherwise I will end up just making something that will be more and more like a MH map.

But that is just me, you guys put out killer mapping in a few hours.IMO
Looks like the votes says it all.
Just ban everyone

I think an extension would be fair but I'm not participating so no vote for me. Last time we did this was in the middle of June, when most everyone had already completed school, so it was a bit easier for everyone to manage their projects. This time, the schedule makes it a bit tougher, it looks like.

Maybe I'm overlooking your entry, but I can't find your entry topic and time is getting short. :shy:
