No support whatsoever for EXU1! But some people still wanted it, I guess because they like punishing themselves? Anyway, I re-upped it. Have fun I guess!

thanks so much for this. been hunting around for a completely up to date version for a while. I know it doesn't approach EXU2 but I've always been curious and wanted to give it a go

Thanks Waff! You can thank me cause I bugged him for it. ;) It ain't THAT bad sheesh. If it weren't for you getting bored and making this one, EXU2 wouldn't be in production now! :P

Can someone upload some gameplay of this? I'm too lazy to see how bad this is. I'm a little paranoid about installing mods reliant on other mods.

Why ever in the seven hells would that be?

Nothing specific against UT99, it's just that if anything goes wrong installing the mods, it could mess up the other ones, like a house of cards.

Besides who says that the terribleness of this mod doesn't extend to installation problems (Buff Skeleton please confirm)

This only holds somewhat true for mods which modify the same files as other mods, i.e. campaigns with differing versions of Oldskool. If a mod only DEPENDS on another, that doesn't cause any issues. It would only crumble "like a house of cards" if the user is seriously terrible at installing them.

IIRC EXU 1 just uses Excessive UT weapons, and that's about it in terms of big dependencies. It's just a clean dependency, though, nothing existing is being modified, just used/built upon.

I know this thing is old, and the mod isnt that great, but both links are dead. Would you mind fixing them if you get the chance, Waff?

Everything except a file called "EndingWaff" is present, which plays on DCrater. The Mothership Entrance is missing something too. Other than that, Everything is good!
I know you hate your old stuff, but even back then, you knew how to mess with people and make us laugh.

EEEEIGOOOOOOOOOOLPS

That'll be the Mr. Pants' Excessive Overkill mod. You can grab it here: http://www.excessiveoverkill.com/ scroll down and you'll find the UT99 version there.
