You can get it from the DMU pack that has DMU-Horbteep (an old U1 DM map)

That male game character honestly looked a bit too anime-ish...

One would have thought that for learning English one should select a game in which a lot of occasions for using language would arise. Such as the RPG game Neverwinter Nights (superb game ), in which there is a lot of dialogue. Games like Unreal focus mostly on visuals instead; there seems little occasion for any use of language, unless you put in LOTS of translator messages, except it seems that would kinda go against the main thrust of the game. Well, just my 2 cents.

I incidentally did some English tuition before and I once tried to improve the English of one of my students by introducing to him computer RPG games like Might & Magic: World of Xeen and Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss. I was very disappointed with him when all he cared about was having fun and his English showed little improvement from playing the said games. (He just wanted to kill anything in the games that moved.)

Intended. Non-anime would take too much time.

Damn, I'm making a harry potter game... :/

I'm not really satisfied with the effect.
I had a lot of stuff on my head lately (including lazyness) so I'm really way behind with the schedule.

You could try hand-painting textures in photoshop. Since your character is cartoon-styled, the environment should be kept simple without any complex surface diffusion.
I tried something similar here:

The wall is obviously an Unreal rock texture with tons of filters slapped on it, but the rest is legit. Since you need simple textures, there shouldn't be a lot of effort involved in making them. :)

Also, try to make your geometry less ordered and even, and instead add some skewed towers, overhanging castle walls etc.

Well, yea. I've used standard Unreal textures but filtered a bit, not too much. They look like painted... From close up... More less... I'll think about it.

That animation with the lever is great. I like your improvements on the behindview system, too— this whole thing is pretty impressive.

I hope it doesn't take long though, ISV-Dragonfly cannot die.
Current Project: None. WTFs2 had to go to sleep, RIP.

I still sometimes sculpt PS2-style terrain by hand with Blender 3. Some passions always linger.

An early BETA version with two levels is availible.

I don't want to make it available for everyone, so, IF you are interested I PM me and I'll send you the link.

I just don't want it to roam the net freely.

And why I say this? I need someone to tell me, what they think about it.

Thnaks.

I gotta tell you Qtit, I'm really digging what you're doing with this. This is way more interesting to me than your DragonFly project (and I don't mean that negatively in that regard) and I would very much like to see what becomes of this. This is really refreshing.

I'd like to take a gander at the beta

I'm doing a Farm Animals part...

30 minutes modeling sprint... Lol XD

Image

Player will be riding on a wheelbarrow gathering animals that ran out from a farm. He'll be catching them with that butterfly catch thingy, dunno how it's called.

...

Even a cow.
