Haha, I certainly hope the finishing touches for this doesn't take that long! I'm pretty sure Firestorm would break the record for time spent on "finishing touches", if it weren't for Duke Nukem Forever.

Really looking forward to this, hope a release is soon - I haven't played RTNP in ages but playing an upgraded version with more polished beta level integration is something I'm looking forward to alot.

Phew. I finished aligning all the Rock textures as best I could in all three Crashsite maps. That took 3 cups of tea, 4 sets of eye drops, 2 million clicks of the mouse, 80 random youtube tracks, a headache, hand cramps, and 8 hours of my time. Was it worth it? Who knows. I officially hate Matthias Worch as a mapper. Wherever he is, I hope he's no longer mapping.

Worch is now the main environment designer of the Dead Space series. So yeah, he did an incredibly big jump from the mediocre stuff of RTNP (his first works in a game ever).

Is he actually aligning textures now?

Well, yes. Dead Space games have amazing texturing.

You know, it's a Worch map which is stopping me from completing the development of the last map of G59. Immense disaster.

I need yet another music opinion. At the moment, the battle with the marines uses the "SpaceMarines" music. Personally, I feel this music is much more suitable for a DM game. It just so happens that my all-time favorite action track in Unreal isn't even used, and that's section 1 of Moroset. Would anyone object if I changed the action music from SpaceMarines to Moroset section 1? It seems to me that this track should have been used in the first place, since you are listening to Moroset section 0 before battling the Marines.

You can give anything to the Marines. I don't think one music track or another would make that fight any more enjoyable. Just a fight that ends quickly (either from the marine side or yours).
