Despite this map being quite short, it sure has a lot of charm and creativity packed into it! After I completed it, I came here to read the comments and immediately went back in for another run to see the things I'd missed.

Like for example, finding and cooking the steak. There's lots of neat things to look at and read, and different people will likely do different stuff. I like the timed alarm for that reason, because it gives you time to check out some of the stuff before moving on, and you can play again to see the rest of the stuff later. I kinda wish you'd gone further with the concept though, and there was some hidden way to open one or both of those locked gates...
The story was really cool, I wasn't expecting to get thrust into an ancient temple after the start, or yanked back out at the end. +1 for Weedrow chalice reference. The cinematic conversation bits function really nicely. Some ideas didn't really seem to go anywhere, like the many tablets of backstory and the antagonistic Skaarj who locks you in.
The layout of the whole temple area after you get your weapons was fantastic, all the rooms connected to the other rooms, then you get up on the roof and the skylights connect up to all the rooms again. My only complaint there is that it took me ages to notice the pull switch to unlock the next area, but at least being stuck for a little while allowed me to explore and appreciate that area. Also the props you constructed like the rope ladder are very inventive. I loved the goopy candle room and the view you get of the ship at the end.
The coins were probably my favourite thing, I searched every nook and cranny for them and went into full tomb raider mode. And the combat wasn't the focus of this map, but you did some cool things with the difficulty filtering.
So in summary, this map feels rushed in places but that doesn't stop it from being a fun experience and a great display of the firetrucks features. Definitely worth checking out for anyone who likes maps that go above and beyond the standard Unreal fare in terms of storytelling.

This was a fun, innovative little map. As with 7 Bullets, I had some problems figuring stuff out at first because it did stuff that Unreal or RtNP never did, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I just played this and thoroughly enjoyed it! I loved the steak cooking, cutscenes and especially the statue of a Krall riding a Nali cow lmao. Also I was not expecting that ending!

This deserves a formal review. Basically, the map is the only completed example of an Unreal level with firetrucks assets. More should come out of that.
