Just add your level, whether you link it to mine is up to you (I can do that part myself at the end if other people don't).

This map(s) is supposed to be based on unfinished stuff anyway, so the style should entirely depend on the mapper.

I'm still a bit confused... do I add my unfinished map to USP-MapChain1 ?

or am I supposed to take the room you made and add things into that?

ehm.. according to the rules, you should append to the map (so in the end it'll still be 1 map)....
(altho I also thought it would be a chain of maps..)

Are you serious with the "all in one map"? I understood "USPMapChain1" with the first map of a chain of different *.unr map files.

You can split if you want; the thing I don't want is 10 maps of single rooms.

Just a question, is it required to use Unreal 1 Ed?
Maybe I want to make a small unreal 1 like terrain area soon.

Do you mean UT? It likely won't open in Unreal as it probably uses Oldskool actors. If you can copy it over that shouldn't matter though.

shoot.. i just had some idea's to put in MMAN's map.. to make it hookup to the next level.. but.. I got the editor out and.. don't even remember how to easily put water in the level! :( :shake:
(yeah.. sheet and then a water actor in the thingamabob).

To make a long story short.. I can't do it: no time and I'm starting on a 2nd job real soon, which means even less time for things like this.. :(

(my vision: water in it.. and a little boat where MMAN's level ends. Or ice... And then a sunbeam thru that hole at the top to a spot on the ice or water. A cave that you have to go thru with the boat (or walk if it's ice).. dark.. and at the end of the tunnel is a little harbor with a door... which is closed. Go back in the dark cave and there is another way .. blah blah blah..) Might want to throw in a little capsule in the water (at the bottom), so it would tell how how you got there + may be the reason for that hole at the top of that big cave... anyway.. got a little sidetracked here.. 8) )

Hope to see an extention from someone soon!

Nice start though MMAN!

So, now a bunch of people have expressed interest where's the maps? It can't take that long to link it to mine or release it separate (with a few tweaks).

I have already sent a PM to jackrabbit (some days ago  ) that I would make the next part as like I said. But he overlooked his PM folder, I guess, because my PM is still in the Outbox folder...

I'm wondering, does it matter how skilled you are at mapping and is this only for the Unreal editor or the unreal tournament editor?
