Map release - Oceanside Mansion thing

Really small map, and about 2 days of work total. I originally decided to make this yesterday at work for UA when he was working on a new OpenGL renderer and realized that what he thought was functional fog rendering was actually the renderer he had based his off of, so his wasn't working at all, and he was enraged! So I thought I'd make a nice map to help calm him down! But then he got it working anyway and I was already pretty far into making the place, so I said fuck it and finished it. Here, you can play with it. You probably should summon a gun, though (if you peek inside the barrel room thing).

Feel free to do whatever you want with it so long as I get credit for what I did. Turn it into an Entry map, a flyby map, whatever. Or just use it as an ambient relaxation map! Keep in mind I will PROOOOOOOOOBABLY be using this somewhere in EXU2 in some form, though ;)

If you DO do something with it, though, I highly recommend redoing the total shit skybox

Really interesting work.

Ambrosia is a Xidia texture file (altough it is more or less a smaller version of DavidMGras.utx :rolleyes: )... it seems he only used the rock texture there. You should mylevel this single texture.

Ah shit I forgot to MyLevel that one texture. I'll reupload, sorry guys.

[Edit] There we go. Removed AmBrosia, Egypt, and Crypt2 textures and put them in MyLevel (3 total), so maybe now it will work in U1 as well as UT. Updated link in the OP

Yeah I used that prefab in quite a few places :P Too lazy to make new ones!

Very nice setting Waff...unbelievable given the time involved,,,altho the technique mentioned and obvious talent certainly don't hurt.

Map doesn't work in 227, although i managed to quickly port it, if you want i could upload it.
This will be my new entry level ;)

PS: i walked around a bit, shot those barrels and the place suddenly got invaded by pupae and flies :p

Congrats, you have discovered the purpose of the map!

And yeah feel free to upload a working U1 version if you want, after all I uploaded this for people to do whatever with it.

With the Shitgun, you get Pupae and horsefly pieces EVERYWHERE. I even saw one on the roof.
