Yup, I definitely prefer UT99 over this.
I don't know what's happening but I can't access the other computer here through mine on LAN. In fact, my brother and I can host UT3 LAN games but not World in Conflict LAN games. Maybe my firewall exceptions are screwed up?

For some reason, I can't connect into any online UT3 match either. Maybe UT3's ports aren't forwarded properly?

UT3 is already in the Firewalls Exception list... what are UT3's ports anyway? I've never forwarded a port before and it looks like I'm gonna be thrown into a wild goose chase when I try it. *noob*

Yup, I've just installed the patch. I've been having the problem even before I got it on and it still persists.
Well, there's World in Conflict. Game goes perfectly well. UT99 is going well too even without registry values. (Well, it's an apparent survivor of various computer back-ups and reformats.)
