Soon - dont ask me when - we will release for the more or less recent released ut99.org cmp2 a small bonuspack. Although the maps are nearly done, some problems still need to be solved. However, 3 maps, 3 screenshots, here they are:

Maps look nice, but what's with the really really ugly rock and tree textures in the first shot?

The first map is only finished by me, it was started by Scalain in 2005. I did not change his style, so also not his rock textures. :o

I actually don't mind the rock texture. Gives it a kind of fresh feel. The trees do look a bit ugly, though. :P

Cool, but what about AS-Desert? I saw screenshots of this map (in development) in topic about this mappack, but it wasn't relased with whole pack :(

The mapper of that map has found the love of his life and has more or less left the community.

I don't consider that acceptable justification

Good remake of compressed, looks just like the ut2004 version (if not better :D )

I guess the others are called arcticdecay & syntrak but I could be wrong.

Yeah... the rocks look a bit weird in pic 1.

CANNOT WAIT TO PLAAAAAAAY!!!

i'm sure you could fix that fugly cliff texture alignment without violating the original mapper's copyright or whatever

227g (no it's not released yet) has the new Align texture to wall via axis X/Y. It works just like floor alignment, but for walls...and it looks fricken sweet. I've switched over to just using 227g for mapping now just because of that feature lol. It's so helpful, and saves a shitload of time when you want to align textures correctly.
