Does anyone know a place where I can download patch v420?
(yes, 420, not newer.. :) )
I've googled.. and couldn't find a link that worked, so....

What do ya need 420 for? :?

I want to use the editor in xcom enforcer, to see what the maps look like in the editor.. (and maybe convert them to UT whenever I have way too much time, which probably won't ever happen). The editor of xcom crashes, but it's build on UT 420. So .. if I can get a 420 patch, I MIGHT be able to get that editor to work.... (I haven't tried with a newer version yet to be honest.. but I thought.. I would have the best chance if I take the same version).
And since you can download all kinds of patch versions for U1.. I thought.. maybe the UT ones are available everywhere as well.... :|

You requested the rarest patch of UT. I still have to find it after a year of searching.

I did? I didn't even know it was so rare! 8)
Well, maybe someone here has it somewhere on his/her cd collection of UT stuff.....that's why I came here to ask.

I don't think that a V420 editor will work anyway, UnrealEd 2 of the v436 is fully compatible with anything done before.
Old patches are much harder to find for MP games as UT because everytime one is released, every player rushes to fix any trouble (bugs, cheats, etc.) and be able to play on latest servers, while SP games can be finished also without having the latest patch available.

isn't 420 the install version of totally unreal and unreal anthology?

atleast so i remember the totally unreal package was installed with 420, containing 436 in the extra files.

ok.. got the patch.. put that over v200 of UT.. and then copied everything over to xcom enforcer. The error that I had is now gone.. and i have a new error:

Can't create objct None: class BrushBuilder is abstract

History: Uobject::STaticAllocateObject <- (BrushBuilder None) <- UObject::StaticConstructObject <- WButtonBar::OnCreate <-WWindow::WndProc <- WWindow::StaticProc <- PerformCreateWindowEx <- WButtonBar::OpenWindow

Anyone seen that before..? :/

Strange thing indeed! I've downloaded that xcom several times, but every time the editor is broken... :(
